NACP and UNDP have launched Training of Trainers (TOT) to prepare in-house team leaders at central and local governments to transfer the knowledge on preventing corruption to civil servants.

Among the participants were representatives of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, ministries and other central executive bodies, the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine, and subnational state administrations.

NACP and UNDP have already developed a training handbook along with a course outline, which were presented to government's anti-corruption dedicated units in December last year.

The course provided trainees with 3 days of intensive training on legal aspects of e-declaration, the issue of liability, and the verification of declarations as well as lots of practice to master facilitation techniques to deliver engaging training.

During the TOT, participants went through the 'compendium' on how to work with declarations, discussed how to use an online draft in further training, and analysed the common questions for filling in declarations.

This anti-corruption training course will lay the foundations for the practical work of dedicated units aiming to prevent corruption and help spread the knowledge through cascade training within ministries and government's subnational offices.
