The report "Human Rights in Ukraine 2013" devoted to the state of human rights and fundamental freedoms in Ukraine in 2013. It consists of two parts - the "public assessment of the state policy in the field of human rights" and "human rights and fundamental freedoms."
The report "Human Rights in Ukraine" is a versatile instrument used by national and international organizations to assess overall human rights situation in Ukraine. It is issued annually since 2004. 30 human rights organizations from all regions of Ukraine have contributed to the report.
This publication considers the human rights situation in Ukraine in 2013, studies by various human rights non-governmental organizations and experts in the field. Each unit contains the analysis of violations of a law in 2013. Also, the report discusses current legislation that promotes violation of human rights and freedoms, and laws which could make a difference. The report provides recommendations to address violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms, and highlights ways to improve the overall situation.
