VII International Conference "Philanthropy and Volunteerism in Action: Saving, Reconciling, and Building a Future"

Dear Colleagues! We kindly invite you to participate in the VII International Conference "Philanthropy and Volunteerism in Action: Saving, Reconciling, and Building a Future" to be held on 26 February 2015. It is jointly organized by Ukrainian Philanthropists and UNDP in Ukraine.
This year has changed the usual things - volunteers and benefactors are the new leaders of society. But it happened for a reason, significant achievements and victories involving complex and extraordinary challenges. New problems in Ukraine require new approaches, active cooperation with the international humanitarian community, the state and society.
The main focus of the conference:
• The role of philanthropy during times of conflict;
• Humanitarian assistance: standards, practices, challenges;
• Systemic legislation reforms for benefactors and volunteers;
• Key prerequisites for social reconciliation;
• Old challenges in the new environment: how to solve problems, not related to conflict;
• New components of benefactors' activity.
Date: 26 February 2015.

Conference admission is free of charge for 50 selected volunteers. For registration to the conference, please fill the online form until 19 February.
