As discussed at the meeting on 24 April, the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) leadership is to be selected soon. Five members of the collegiate NAPC are to be picked through a participatory and transparent processthat will incorporate civic voices on the Selection Panel.
The procedure for selecting NAPC leadership has been spelt out in much detail within the relevant decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (

The procedure envisages, amongst other elements, nomination of 4 CSO representatives onto the Selection Panel that will review applications for the 5 vacancies at the NAPC. The nomination process of "civic 4" is, in turn, a procedure that will take place on Sunday, 17th May in the Club of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (more details in Ukrainian

The civic "primaries" that nominate 4 Selection Panel judges are organized by the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers in Ukraine and will be chaired by the Deputy Minister, Mr. Roman Greba. While there is no clear forecast of how many CSOs are going to be represented at the nomination meeting, the interest may indeed be substantial, and "one organization = one vote" procedure will be put in place to ensure fairness and clarity of process.
Once all panelists are in place (including nominees by the Parliamentary Committee on Anticorruption, delegates from the President, Government, Head of the National Civil Service Agency as well as 4 CSO experts), the process of selecting NAPC leadership will be able to commence.
