28 January 2015, Kyiv School of Economics hosted 93 IT experts and entrepreneurs, activists, startup practitioners and data journalists to discuss the reasons for opening state data, building open data storage platforms, stimulating open data startups and creating an enabling environment for data production, reification and consumption.

29 January: Results of the monitoring and assessment of situation on the administrative service provision in Kherson region to the citizens of Ukraine living in Crimea were presented during the press-conference with participation of all state and local service-providing institutions in Kherson. 

The United Nations Development Programme opens up the draft State programme on operationalizing the Anti-corruption Policy of Ukraine (Anti-corruption Strategy) for 2014-2017 for comments and suggestions of all interested CSOs and activists. The draft was elaborated with UNDP support.

On 29 December, a meeting of human rights organizations working in the field of documenting human rights violations in eastern Ukraine during the armed conflict was held in Kyiv.

During the occupation, the scale of the abduction and torture of people in the north of Luhansk region was similar to the situation in Slovyansk. This conclusion was made by the mobile monitoring group of the Center for Civil Liberties that visited Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, and Rubizhne in December last year.
