21-22 November 2013, Kyiv. For two days the premises of the country's main sports-complex, NSC "Olimpiysky" became a core meeting point for the civil society. These two days saw the Second Capacity Development Forum, organized by ISAR Ednannia in partnership with numerous national and international partners, including participation and support of UNDP Ukraine. The work of the Forum was conducted for two days by over 700 civil society representatives from both Ukraine and abroad.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Council supported the draft Oblast-level Programme to Promote Civil Society Development for 2014 - 2015. The decision was approved by a majority vote at the Council session on 15 November, 2013.

On 14 November Donetsk Oblast Council approved the oblast Programme to Promote Civil Society Development for 2013 - 2015 with the overall budget of UAH 2038 thousand.

Development of an effective system of monitoring, evaluation and analysis of discrimination in general, and gender discrimination in particular is an absolute priority of the Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner on Human Rights. This issue is of particular relevance now, on the eve of Ukrainian reporting to the UN Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.

Environmental strategic litigation platform was launched within "Democratization, human rights and civil society development in Ukraine" project, bringing together representatives of think tanks, civil society organizations, lawyers, and civic activists working in the field of human rights and legal protection of environmental rights.
