
Latest United Nations E-Government Survey shows substantial progress in Ukraine towards higher levels of e-government development. In 2 years, the country has jumped by 25 points in e-government and 45 points in e-participation, now ranking 62nd of 193 countries across the globe.

In September 2015 the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine (UNDP) was requested by the Government of Ukraine to assist in building a software complex for the Unified registry of asset declarations from persons authorized to fulfil state and local government functions.

Eight regional CSO leaders successfully completed their organizational development programme under UNDP's umbrella to enhance their financial stability, democratic representation and governance procedures, as well as their membership and volunteer management and advocacy practices. Today, they are now better equipped to provide quality social services and effectively speak for the Ukrainian citizens they represent.

Ukrainian civil society assesses the extent to which Ukraine has complied with human rights standards set forth by the International Convention of the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), prepares for the Geneva review.

The electronic system of asset declaration submission, storage and verification, developed by UNDP upon request of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, is officially taken on board and final preparations for launch are ongoing.
