An initiative group comprising of residents from various parts of Ukraine and in Kyiv shortly formed of artists, actors, writers, cameramen, critics, educators and other representatives of creative professions, decided to devote part of their time and by means of culture, art, and good will start restoring trust and reinstating social cohesion that got broken in times of military conflict.

Kyiv, 09 October 2014 – IDCEE, or Investor's Day Central and Eastern Europe, is one of the 5 major IT events dedicated to startups, Internet activists and entrepreneurs, chief executive and technical officers of IT companies, IT professionals, bloggers and digital media specialists. 

Kyiv, 8 October, 2014 – The digital agenda 2015 was presented by the State Agency for E-Governance in Ukraine at the Ukraine crisis media center. It was developed according to the Reform Strategy-2020 and in the framework of the EU socio-economic development strategy until 2020. UNDP provided support to the capacity development of the newly established lead agency in the area of e-governance.

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in first reading a package of anticorruption draft laws, one of them envisaging establishment of the National Commission for Prevention of Corruption.

On 23 September the Ukrainian Ombudsman delivered her speech at the session of the UN Council for Human Rights in Geneva during the discussion concerning strengthening of the international efforts in order to prevent violence against children.
