
Ukrainian anticorruption legislation has been recently undergoing changes. In spring this year the Law on Prevention and Countering Corruption was amended to increase the number of draft regulations that shall undergo anticorruption expert assessment.

Ukraine has only made slight progress in fulfilling its international obligations of government transparency, with only 55 percent of the Open Government Partnership's action points being satisfied after one year.

29 May 2013, Kyiv – One in the series of trainings “The Psychological Adjustment of Home Aggressors” took place at the Office of the Ukrainian Ombudsperson bringing together practicing psychologists from the centers of social and psychological aid in Ukraine.

22 April 2013 Kyiv saw the presentation of the “Democratization, human rights and civil society development in Ukraine” Project, which is implemented by UNDP with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark throughout 2013-2016.

21-22 March 2013, Kyiv – The International Conference BUILDING BRIDGES: COLLABORATIVE NETWORKS AND INTERNATIONAL MECHANISMS FOR HUMAN RIGHTS PROTECTION brought to Kyiv over 140 human rights defenders, journalists, representatives of human rights commissioners, and public officials from 10 countries.
