"The work of regional coordinators for public relations throughout August-December 2013" report produced by the UMDPL Association and recommendations on the improvement of regional coordinators work provided by expert group of Advisory Council of the Commissioner for Human Rights was presented to the attention of regional coordinators during the coordination meeting on 25-26 July in Kyiv.

Developments of the past six months in Ukraine challenged the entire national system of protecting human rights. In the report "Efficiency of the Activities of Secretariat of Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights. 2013" presented on 23 July, human rights defenders aimed to assess the performance of the Commissioner's Secretariat both during the events of Euromaidan and in the course of past year.

22 July 2104, Kyiv – A round table discussion on assessment of the first year implementation of the Law of Ukraine "On Civic Associations" took place in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The First Deputy Minister of Justice Ms. Inna Yemelianova, the newly appointed Head of the Department for Civic Institutions of the State Registration Service of Ukraine Ms. Tetiana Bondar, Representatives of regional registration services, representatives of international organizations and civic expert participated in the event.

We, the representatives of Ukrainian human rights organizations, appeal to the foreign diplomatic missions in Ukraine with a request to account for the position of the civil society regarding human rights situation in Ukraine when considering and adopting the resolution on Ukraine by the UN Human Rights Council.
